Brenda Branic
Brenda Branic, Customer Service Manager for the Southeast Region with Allstate Insurance, has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from St. Leo University, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina. She has been employed with Allstate Insurance Company 19 years and has held numerous leadership positions that enhanced her professional prowess. She was awarded volunteer of the year for the Southeast Region in 2012 as the result of her benevolence in the community. She has chaired the Giving campaigned, Chaired the Southeast Regional Helping Hands Committee, Selected as an Allstate Super Ambassador in 2013 and 2014, represented the Southeast Region in the Agency Summit held in Las Vegas Nevada, and secured her Senior Claim Law Associate designation.
Ms. Branic has served on a plethora of non-profit boards to include, City Year Columbia where she was able to secure over 250,000.00 in funding and was awarded the coveted red jacket for her tenure and loyal service, Palmetto Hospice Board of Palmetto Richland Hospital, Girls Incorporated Columbia and Delta House. As a board for the aforementioned 501 ©3 organizations, Ms. Branic has been extremely instrumental in securing funding, recruiting board members, working in the trenches to ensure the various community service projects were realized as well as planning, coordinating, and implementing workshops that enhanced the board member’s knowledge of nonprofits and the community at large.
She is the First Vice-President of the Columbia (SC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and serves on several committees that benefit the Sorority and the Community. As an active member of Second Nazareth Baptist Church, Ms. Branic chairs the Scholarship Ministry, the Christmas Gala Committee and serves as a member on several other ministries. She has a litany of experience with Team Building, Professional Career Coaching, Training Facilitation, Process Improvement Administration, Leadership, Collaboration, and Communication and plans to share her acumen with the Edgewood Foundation.
Her mantra is “many hands make light work”. She is a community champion with an undying love for youth.
