Moses Felder

 

Moses Felder has been the owner of Hills Barber Shop for 45 years. Active in the community, he was awarded the "Top Community Service Award the Waverly Community and the Second Nazareth Baptist Church “Man of the Year”. He serves on the board of the Benedict-Allen Community Development Corporation and the CA Johnson Alumna Association.  As a member of the Palmetto Barber Association, he also served as president for 8 years.

 

Currently, he is the Chairman of the Second Nazareth Baptist Church’s Deacon’s Ministry; a position he has held since 1992.  He has also served as a trustee for the Church for 16 years.

 

Felder was education in the Columbia, SC public schools and also attended Voohees College and Denmark Technology School, both in Denmark SC and Bonner Business School in Atlanta, GA.

 

His Favorite Scripture is John 3:16 – For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. He says, "That scripture has always been powerful to me."
