Anna M. Davis

 

Anna M. Davis is a Vice President and Implementation Consultant at Wells Fargo Bank. She is a tenured banker having served in the industry for over 45 years.

 

Anna is a native South Carolinian and a graduate of Rosenwald High School, Society Hill, S. C. where she graduated as Salutatorian, and holds a B. S. Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Science from Benedict College. She is also a graduate of the S. C. Bankers School at the University of South Carolina, and the School for Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin where she was an honor graduate. In addition, she is a graduate of the United Way “Project Blue Print”; and holds certifications Six Sigma Greenbelt and Lean for Practitioners in Financial Services from STATA-A-Matrix, Inc. 

 

Anna was selected as one of the Top Ten Business Women of the American Business Women's Association in 1998 and was selected as "Woman of the Year" by the Columbia Chapter and Forsyth Chapters of ABWA. In 1994, the Columbia Chapter of ABWA elected her as "Business Associate of the Year". She is currently serving as president of the Columbia Chapter of ABWA.  

 

Anna is very active in community activities and other professional organizations which include:  president of the Columbia Triad Chapter of ABWA, past board member of the ARC of Forsyth County, Winston-Salem, served on the United Way Allocations Review Panel, Past President of the Central S. C. Group of Financial Women International, S. C.; Membership Chairperson of Financial Women International; Regional Award Chairperson and State Conference Chairperson of Financial Women International; and Past Chair of the Board of Directors for Interfaith Community Services of South Carolina.

 

In 1994, Anna was listed at an Outstanding Young Woman of America, and in 1992 she was listed as Oxford’s Who’s Who as an honored member of the Elite Registry of Professionals.

 

Anna is a member of the Second Nazareth Baptist Church, Columbia, S. C. where she serves as Trustee, Chairperson of the Capital Planning Committee, President of the Blessed Hands Ministry leader, Newsletter Editor, member of the Scholarship ,Stewardship Committees and Minister’s and Deacons Wives Ministry. Anna regularly attends the Adult Sunday School Class and Wednesday Night Bible Study at Second Nazareth. 

 

Anna's motto in life is "To Make a Difference". Her daily guide for living is "do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
